Work #3 (WIP = Work In Progress) I think this one might go up on Etsy. It's called "Live, Laugh, Love", but I don't think it's done yet. I need a couple of days looking at it and then I'll see what I think. I spray varnished #1 and #2. Will wait for them to dry and then #1 to Janie in CT and #2 at the top of my stairs. If I remember, I'll take a picture of #2 once it is hung. Maybe Janie will send me a picture of #1 once she gets it hung. ;0) Picture #1

2nd Project 4-29-12

Here we go...second project. This is going to go at the top of my stairs. Perfect spot for this 12" x 36" mixed media piece. I'm including four photos - work in progress. Not sure if I'm done yet. Was going to name it "Scars", but not sure now. 1.

Day #124.......or something like that. It's amazing how one thing can throw your whole life for a loop. And you get caught up and plans go out the window. Here's the semi cleaned-up studio. At least it's clean enough to sit in front of the easel. Painted for the first time in months - possibly a year - tonight. Felt fabulous and needed it mightily.

PROJECT STUDIO - Day #1


Okay, so I thought if I took a picture of the mess that my (soon to be) studio is, that it might give me some impetus to get things unpacked. So my experiment (or project) here is to post pictures as the studio SLOWLY comes to fruition.

PLEASE NOTE: There is actually one shelving unit in the room that is mildly organized! I'm giving myself a couple of points for that. Please post if you have any ideas for what I should do with the room. I will be putting up three 18"x24" cork boards together on one wall to use as an INSPIRATION STATION.
